In the Catholic Church, marriage is not simply a ceremony. It is a sacrament, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that reflects the faithful, life-giving love of Christ for his Church. Because of that, preparing well for marriage is one of the most important things an engaged couple can do, not just for their wedding day, but for every day that follows.

Our Marriage Preparation ministry walks alongside engaged couples as they get ready to say yes to each other and to God. Through honest conversation, prayerful reflection, and practical formation, couples are invited to look deeply at who they are, what they believe, and what kind of marriage they want to build together.

The volunteers and ministers who make up this ministry are ordinary people, many of them married couples themselves, who know from experience that a strong Catholic marriage is both a gift and a daily commitment. They offer their time because they believe in the sacrament and in the couples they serve.

If you are engaged and beginning to plan your wedding, or if you feel called to walk with couples on this journey, explore the opportunities below and reach out to the parish office to take the next step.
